Inflammatory foods

This month we are talking a lot about healthy aging. One of the things I’m doing to help with that is to eat more foods that fall into the “anti-inflammatory category.”

😟Chronic, low-grade inflammation is so intertwined with aging that some researchers actually came up with a term – INFLAMMAGING!

Studies show that what you eat can play a role in helping your body fight inflammation.

Foods with anti-inflammatory properties include fruits, nuts, veggies, whole grains, and healthy fats.

(Pro-inflammatory foods are – you guessed it – ultra-processed products like cookies, chips, cake, and anything filled with sugar, salt, preservatives, etc.)
